The Baldwinsville Central School District is seeking qualified candidates for Alternative Instruction Teachers for the school year. Interviews will occur virtually on a monthly basis. The rate of pay for Alternative Instructors is $47.00 per hour. Alternative instruction is provided for students with medical restrictions or students who require instruction outside the school/classroom setting, which should be the equivalent of or closely resemble the instruction provided to the student if said student was present in the classroom. Alternative Instructors work closely with school counselors and teachers of record during the period of alternative instruction.
All applicants are required to provide college transcripts, proof of teaching certification(s) and fingerprint clearance if hired.
A minimum of 10 hours of instructional time per week for elementary (PK-6) at the elementary level and fifteen hours per week at the secondary (Grs. 7-12) level is required.
