Job Description

Operation of a school bus in transporting students to and from school and school district functions.  The employee is charged with the safety of the children upon entry to the vehicle and during their transport.  The employee may be accompanied by a School Bus Attendant.  It is the employee's responsibility to check the vehicle for safety purposes prior to making trips.  A supervisor assigns bus routes and periodically evaluates the employee's driving skills and knowledge of State laws appicable to transporting students.  Does related work as required.

Free comprehensive training is provide to obtain CDL and qualify for employment.

Job Qualifications

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and possess a clean, valid driver's license.  CDL preferred, but not required.

Ideal candidates will be available to work 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; however, we will consider other schedules or if only available to work certain days of the week. 

If selected for training/hired you will be required to provide three written letters of reference.  If you have letters of reference available at the time you submit the application, please upload the letters; otherwise you can provide them during an interview if selected or prior to the end of the training period.
