| Certified Lifeguards | 25-26 Lifeguards | This is a position involving responsibility for supervision of an indoor swimming pool during the Fall and Winter Athletic Seasons and ensuring the premises' safety and welfare. - good knowledge of lifesaving techniques and first aid;
- good knowledge of resuscitation techniques, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation; lifeguarding certification;
- good knowledge of the use and care of lifesaving equipment;
- ability to swim well and make surface dives;
- ability to pass water safety tests at the beginning of and at any time during the season;
- ability to instruct bathers in water safety techniques;
- ability to maintain order on the swimming premises;
- ability to follow oral and written directions;
- ability to effect rescue;
- ability to deal effectively with people; maturity; integrity; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
Availability: Saturdays - 8:00 am to 1:00 pm; Monday-Fridays 2:45 pm - 7:30pm | $16.85(25-26) |
