School Nurse RN - 10 Months(Float Position)

Baldwinsville CSD has a full-time School Nurse vacancy.  The district is seeking a 10-month, Registered Nurse float to support all district health offices along with servicing our private school RN needs which could occur weekly.  The ideal candidate must exemplify flexibility, adaptability will play a vital role in bridging the gap between health and academics by providing direct clinical care, managing chronic conditions, and promoting a culture of wellness for students of all ages. The registered nurse will serve as a primary health resources within our school community, while collaborating with staff, parents and community providers.

The RN would have set work hours determined by the School Nursing Supervisor, but their worksite location would vary based on district-wide needs - any UPK-12 building.  Specific worksite location will vary in length by day(s), weeks, long-term sub (i.e. medical or personal leaves) or leave of  absence coverage when no sub is available.  

Position is an 8 hours per day job for 10 months per year following the school calendar. Some days may be required in August for office setup and medication/medical supply drop off.

School Nurse RN - 10 Months (Building TBD)

Baldwinsville CSD has a full-time School Nurse vacancy.  The district is seeking a 10-month, Registered Nurse to support students within a building (building to be determined).  The ideal candidate must exemplify flexibility, adaptability and will play a vital role in bridging the gap between health and academics by providing direct clinical care, managing chronic conditions, and promoting a culture of wellness for students of all ages. The registered nurse will serve as a primary health resource within our school community, while collaborating with staff, parents and community providers.

The RN would have set work hours determined by the School Nursing Supervisor which are 8 hours per day, 10 months per year. Worksite location will be determined upon internal transfer completion; however, RN would be required to assist with covering other buildings based on district-wide needs in any UPK-12 building when absences occur and no substitute is available.

School Nurse Substitute (25-26)

Perform professional nursing services at our school district in the maintenance of acceptable health standards, school health records, and the emergency treatment of student and employee health problems.  Under general direction, an employee in this class is responsible for giving care to students and for performing related nursing services such as pupil health appraisal and follow through and communicable disease control requiring specialized judgement and skills.  8 hour work day.

$247.00 per day
